Delete Your Account

PitWall — Formula 1 App

Signing in to PitWall is optional. If you did sign in with Google, we hold an account for you on our servers — and you can have it, and everything stored with it, deleted at any time. No reason needed.

How to request deletion

Send us an email from the address linked to your PitWall account. That is how we confirm the request is yours, so a message from any other address cannot delete your data.

Email us to delete your account

  • To: contact@pitwall.site
  • Subject: Delete my PitWall account
  • From: the Google address you signed in with

We delete the account within 30 days of the request and confirm by reply when it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything we hold that is tied to your account, permanently and without a copy kept:

  • Your profile: Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile photo URL
  • Your race predictions and every session they were scored in
  • Your points, season total, prediction streaks and your place on the leaderboard
  • Your diamond balance, the record of how you earned and spent it, and any unlocks bought with it
  • Your synced settings: theme, favourite wallpapers and pinned news sources
  • Your push notification token

What is not affected

  • Data on your device. Favourites, pinned sources and settings kept locally are not on our servers; uninstalling the app removes them.
  • Wallpapers you saved. Images you downloaded belong to your device’s gallery and are yours to keep or delete.
  • Subscriptions. A Power Pack subscription is billed by Google Play, not by us. Deleting your PitWall account does not cancel it — do that in the Play Store, under Payments & subscriptions.
  • Anonymous analytics and crash reports. These carry no name or email, cannot be traced back to you once the account is gone, and expire on Google’s own retention schedule.

If you only want to stop

Signing out inside the app (Settings → Sign out) ends any further collection of account data and clears the account’s data from that device, without deleting what we hold. Deletion is the step that removes it from our servers as well.
